3. Think of how they have been hurt
4. Let your soul understand
5. Imagine them being healed by this situation and their soul learning and growing
6. Ask for God's grace in healing your soul
7. Begin again
8. Repeat as many times as necessary, until you feel free

Forgiveness frees you. It doesn't mean you are saying what was done is OK. It means you are willing to move forward for yourself.
